When your little child below 18yrs offends u or misbehaves, do you caution him/her with words of wisdom embedded with love or do you show him/her the rod?
I need your matured opinion.

Spare the rod and spoil the child bro!
Some of these children needs to have their brains reset once in a while.

Depends your mode of discipline, I really prefer instilling morals with love and care.
Remember, my Holy Bible speaks in wisdom so mentioning rod actually refers to discipline but not beating

@the bolded, depends on how you choose to interpret that verse of the scripture.
Also, remember that you 'beat' or discipline with love and care.

Personally, I believe in it, when all efforts to get the child to behave or listen have been exhausted, then explain why I’ve done it. When I eventually have children I hope I can adopt this approach anyway. Every child is different sha, it really depends

Never to the point of abuse though

Points made but most of these children are not to be blame because some are raised by distant parents while the kids are at the mercy of maids

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
