NASS just needs to take time to draft this bill. It’s a very important bill that effects the very substance of our democracy. They had all the time to raise this bill, why do it 6 months to election. Now they are making it seem urgent, which, to say the least reeks of deceit.

It all boils down to a matter of interpretation. The omission alone is very dangerous bcs if the literal interpretation is used, then it means the officer can announce results without counting. On the other hand, if the golden rule interpretation is applied, then what would be considered in interpreting that section is the intentions of the draftesman. What we will get at the end of the day is law suits upon law suits

Whoever expects anything good to come out of the PDP is on a long thing. The party is too inclined towards debauchery in everything they do.
