Jesus never paid tithes. There was no how He could have paid tithes when He was not a farmer or a shepherd. He was a carpenter.

Even fishermen never paid tithes.

Tithes entailed a part of an increase. So if you had 10 cows and it turned into 20, you are obligated to tithe a part of the increase (that is, an increase of 10 cows).

How could a carpenter like Jesus have tithed? What would He have tithed? Nails or hammers?
