Is there anyone that takes the illiterate seriously? Even If the members of NASS were high on cheap weed, will they ever propose the cancellation of vote counting? If votes are not counted, how will the winner be determined.

It's obvious that this illiterate Onochie woman knows nothing, but she wants to talk because others are talking. When such an illiterate is working for Buhari, then it's obvious that the government must go.

It may not add up but sadly, that is the truth. Pdp should allow Nigerians to decide, their planned rigging won't work.
I am not a member of the PDP, but your version is childish. Who controls INEC? The part the President has cold feet for is the electoral order, where the presidential election comes last. That way, with all Guber elections over, his constituency could connive to throw him out. If it is about manipulation of the election, APC has the upper hand!!!

You dey mind them? They control the electoral umpire and can't even trust themselves. That's what happens when defeat stares you in the face. So he wants the term 'count' inserted and he couldn't suggest it! Uh! O ma se o. Truth is Onochie like many people of the cult project a lot. Nigerians know those who would rather die than hand over when defeated in 2019 but bad news is: This is not 2015!

Part of the amendment done to the electoral act says the votes will be transmitted live and instantaneously to relevant authorities (even media houses, if need be). Please, somebody should help me ask this drunkard what you'll be counting manually again?

One of the several reasons he refused to apend his signature on the bill is as shown below. The nass that want him to sign the bill into law should cross the Ts and dot the Is before making noise. Buhari will never sign such a fraud.

THE AMIR MUST GO.

COPIED:

"The Electoral Act as Amended was first forwarded to Mr. President in March and it was rejected because of the Sequences of elections which had fixed the Presidential elections last. The NASS returned the elections sequence to the previous routine and returned the Bill to Mr. President to sign. Mr. President rejected the Bill on the excuse that there were drafting issues. NASS again corrected the drafting errors and returned the Bill to Mr. President a third time. He returned the bill still citing drafting errors.... Then for a forth time the Bill was sent to him in October and it took him about 2 months to give a reply... Even a child knows that Buhari is not sincere. The use of incident form gave the President 70% of his vote in the North in 2015. It is the same game he is banking on in 2019. That is why he is scared of outlawing the incident form... Nigeria is bigger than anyone. Let the will of the people stand in 2019" .

Silly woman. if that were the case, then APC is set to win because they control the states with the highest voters count. They will just tell the electoral umpires to announce any fictitious figure. that simple. it favors APC. this woman is so daft.

PoliticsNigeria:
@POLITICSNGR

Presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie has reportedly uncovered a plot by the Opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to rig the 2019 General Elections.

On Sunday, Onochie alleged that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and other PDP stakeholders had plotted to use the electoral bill if signed to rig the forthcoming 2019 elections. It could be recalled that PoliticsNGR earlier reported that President Buhari declined to assent to the bill for a fourth time citing certain clauses in the bill could negatively affect the conduct of the 2019 general elections.

Onochie wrote;

"Pres. Buhari came to governance through the popular will of the people of Nigeria who used the Card Reader to put a stop to his years of winning Presidential elections and never announced winner. He loves the Card reader. We love the Card Reader.

What they did was to cleverly replace “COUNT & ANNOUNCE”, with only “ANNOUNCE” in the new electoral bill amendment which portends grave danger for the progress our electoral process made in 2015.

It means COUNTING of our votes will no longer be necessary in 2019. Electoral umpires could announce any figure to favour whoever pays them well. They also want political parties to have the ability to merge 21 days to the election instead of the Current 90 days. It’s a recipe for disaster.

It’s disgraceful that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is pushing for our President Buhari to sign the flawed document that would ensure our disenfranchisement, and then enthrone manipulation of number of votes or in one word, RIGGING. But Pres. Buhari will always protect the interests of Nigerians

It’s unfair to Nigerians that the goal posts are being shifted in the dying minutes of a match. Thank you great President and Vice President too, the defenders of our nation, for spotting the pitfalls."

apparently you can see but dumb to comprehend what she rightly pointed out

under section 63(4) votes are counted & announce @ the polling unit ... it promote transparency against all odds
but new electoral act propose no more public counting , the presiding officer should just announce result ... room for manipulation.
section 91 of the proposed electoral act adjusted the limitation of election expenses thereby promoting extravagant spending, for a economy that just recover from recession ,that cannt afford 30k minimum wage ,ASUU neglected ... any nigerian supporting these electoral new shit is his/her own enemy .. we wonnt gain anything

You are as silly as Onochie herself that why you believe and support them. For you information the said bill is sponsored by an APC senator, sulaiman Nazif from Bauchi. Not Atiku or Saraki.In fact, it was first moved when both Saraki, Atiku and Dogara were still in APC. Believe Apc and their government at your own risk. Think Nigeria!!

Onochie, thank you for bursting their bubbles and for the eye opener. As usual of them, they wanted to make us believe otherwise but Nigerians are wiser than that now. Kudos to the presidential team for detecting such a graveyard in their so called "Election law reform".

As if I knew something was fishy. You know something is not right when PDP; a party known to be the most corrupt in the world, feeding the most corrupt VP in the history of Nigeria as its presidential candidate, started clamouring for an election law reform.

PDP should just STFU shocked
