Two things are involved. Either you didn't read or you read and didn't understand! Either case, the fault is entirely yours!

the entire article is not saying anything. Question is, were funds illegally deducted from NLGN account without due consent and rule of law?

The entire article is just a defence as to why they should perpetuate the illegality....it doesn't answer the fundamental questions. Why were the funds withdrawn without due process and rule of law?

NLNG is now the conduits pipe of the NNPC. If $2.3 billion could be dividend that the NNPC is entitled to, how much then is NNPC itself worth and how much is it contributing.

You withdraw money from another arm or sister company of yours to pay a subsidy claim that is rigged in financial controversy and you expect the national assembly to shut up and sign the check

What has been happening is that, every criminal has been looking for a way to dent the hard reputation of buhari without being thorough, and they end up disgracing themselves.

National assembly can go on to carry their oversight function, but to start misleading the public whenever they are not lobbied is a very bad omen. they are extant laws that guides the rules which every one in different capacity of government must follow without necessarily coming to seek their approval on certain issues.

If you read and understand, you Will know the article explained NNPC have the legal right to deduct it. If you read and understand, you won't need to ask this question again! They even quoted 2 laws and referred to a court case that have decided this same question in the past. So my assertion still stand. Either you didn't read it you didn't understand. Which is it?

I've noticed one funny and tactical trend with this administration and it is:

The North are seated at the helms of most of the juicest MDAs and are likely beneficiaries of massive corruption, while the South are precariously positioned as their spokespersons and mouthpieces to defend them whenever the need arises. Pertinent to state also that these Southern mouthpieces are always mouthier when it comes to attacking their fellow Southerners.
On point

it is the foolishness of the south in general, and Yoruba elite in particular that is to blame

A United south will give us greater bargaining power in govt,

but then, we are snitching each other while aboki is getting the spoils....

If you have been to Abuja, you will see how northern folks are living big while doing next to nothing in various govt agencies.

And you wonder what is going on?

Look at Buhari without certificate sending Osibanjo a professor and SAN on errands to share 10k, while he presides over critical matters of state.

it's annoying

you see aboki kids get all the good jobs in Abuja with ease

promotion is fast, and they are all balling

The ones in DPR are balking

Hausa is the lingua franca of NNPC towers

there are others running petrol subsidy scam

What about the currency racket going on among abokis (CBN official's are culprits and the aboki BDC accomplices)

and the list is endless

And in the midst of all these rubbish, a Yoruba man will think that igbos are his problem, and will be hurling slurs at him , or rejoice at what he thinks is his "downfall"

.You don't even understand the subject but just rush to put a defence for an illegality that will hunt your country back. Over a billion dollars was expended without recourse to budgetary provision and you are talking of what you don't know.If the trash you put up as defence is obtainable, why did the presidency wrote to the senate to approve a loan to purchase ammunitions.
