Senior pastor and founder of Word Assembly, Pastor Philip Igbinijesu, has described the Buhari administration as a locust, a disaster, and the worst thing to happen in the 21st century and has condemned Buhari as not having the education, capacity or experience to deliver the Nigeria of our dreams, the Cleric who turned 50 on Thursday, is well known for a video of him declaring that members without their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) will not be allowed to partake in the church's communion which went viral some months ago, made the declaration during the church's 10th edition of the annual Conference, the International Festival of Victory (IFOV) themed "Well Able - Capacity for More" , which has in attendance Ex presidential candidate Reverend Elishama Ideh has accused the Buhari administration of lopsided appointments and more.

In his words "God forbid, and I say it with my mouth wide open, and anybody that wants to tweet it can tweet it and put it on social media, God forbid that Nigeria has another 4 years of this locust called Buhari administration"

"The Buhari administration is one of the worst things that has happened in the 21st century to Nigeria, on every reckoning, they are not doing well, you give them another 4 years, and the extremism will be on the highest level"

He gave thumbs up to presidential candidates of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) , Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) and Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Kingsley Moghalu, Fela Durotoye and Oby Ezekwesili respectively, declaring them as his preferred candidates because they are Excellent and have the Intelligence and Capacity to rule, but also warned that they were allegations that some of these candidates were being sponsored to divide the votes and it is dangerous if these candidates and young people do not come to an agreement as they will be indirectly agreeing to the current administration,he also blasted the candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) and Sahara reporters founder Omoleye Sowore , describing him as noisy and inexperienced as he insults everyone.

In the video, he described Buhari as thus - "This man does not have the capacity to produce a Nigeria that is better, if you don't have it, you don't have it, he doesn't have the Education and Experience, there is nothing on ground, not one thing that somebody can point to as a reason for him, the integrity that has been spoken about, all his compromise in the area of promoting only his people, has made rubbish of that integrity"

Pastor Philip also said that there is no way the government can deny the agenda of Islamic fundamentalism citing the appointment of Matthew Seiyefa as DSS boss by then Acting President, Yomi Osibanjo and his immediate removal and appointment of Yusuf Magaji Bichi by Buhari on his return, as example.

He also blasted a section of the Redeemed Christian Church, describing them, not the Body of Christ, as the highest beneficiary of the Vice Presidential sit.
