EFCC Invites Okupe Over N100m Dasuki Fund

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has invited Doyin Okupe, a former senior Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, for allegedly receiving N100m from embattled former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki (retd.).

Aside allegedly receiving money from Dasuki, the former presidential aide is also accused of receiving dubious contracts to the tune of N76m from a local council in Niger State.

However, Okupe said he was invited by the EFCC for cybercrime, stalking and alleged hate speech

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed 59 charges against a former Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe.

The Guardian learnt that the charges bordered on alleged fraud, and arms money he received from Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).

Sources disclosed yesterday that he would be arraigned at the Federal High Court 7 in Abuja.
