Good morning Nairalanders, it's no news that the situation of our country Nigeria keeps depreciating everyday and there virtually nothing in place or any plans to make things work by our current political class, it's audible to the deaf and visible to the blind that none of our political class actually have the interest of the masses at heart.

The political class divide us along religious and ethnic sentiments to keep us fighting against each other while they unit to milk our common wealth.

It's a bitter truth but religion and tribe only exist among the masses and we suffer the brunt of bad leadership, among the leaders there is nothing like PDP or APC they only use any of those platforms to get what they want and if we think Nigeria would get better anytime soon we are just deceiving ourselves.

The primary reason while it's almost impossible for things to get better is the current structure of the country is positioned to fail and this failed system is enrich a few privileged hence they would do everything to keep the system going.

The essence of this thread is to create a youth movement, we cry everyday that we need a change in leadership but in the right sense POWER IS NEVER SHARED OR GIVEN, POWER IS ONLY TAKEN. Hence if we remain quiet nobody would make the needed change.

The current independence we enjoy was a product of a youth movement hence this idea was born.
I want us to engage ourselves and chat a future for ourselves.
We all know the problems of the country but now isn't time to overly emphasize they but to put heads together and find a possible common ground.

The truth is when suffering knows no tribe nor religion, please don't just read drop your comments, drop your possible opinion on what can be done.

as far as nigeria as a nation still exist u cant seperate religion and tribal sentiments from politics ..even our dear president played the card very well during and after election.....come next 50 years we will still be separated by it,because its embedded in us....the only solution is the dissolution of the country and let everyone go their own way and create their own course....but some people are afraid

Dissolution seems the easy way but take up time and access each states, even within the southern states.
The primary problem we have is purposeless leadership, even among states the leaders still use ethnic bias to divide us, we all as masses have a similar pain and our differences are not natural but artificial creation of those who want us to remain divided for their selfish aims.
If you divide Nigeria today, the leaders of each region currently will still rule over their regions, why not we give it a try, why not we try and get a direction and try to harmonise our similarities rather than blow our differences.
