Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city, popularly known as Eko is a fun place to visit and also is the commercial centre of Nigeria. Being the commercial heartbeat of the nation, it really is exciting to live, work or visit this city.

Here’s a list of some of the greatest fun places to visit in Lagos. Let’s jump right in to explore this great city.

UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS

The University of Lagos, popularly known as Unilag, is a Federal Government research institution in Lagos state and was established in 1962 by the Nigerian government.

Asides from being one of the most popular Universities in the country, and having produced dignitaries who have made the country proud due to its level of educational excellence.

LEKKI CONSERVATION CENTRE

From its origin and establishment in 1990 by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF), Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC) has grown into one of Africa’s prominent and most-diverse urban Nature Parks due to its high species richness.

It is, therefore, one of the best urban parks to satiate visitors’ curiosity of nature. It is the only vibrant protected area in Lagos State and one of the very few vibrant tourist destinations of repute in Lagos.

Canopy Walkway

This is the most popular feature in the centre. It is an amazing suspended swinging bridge walkway that runs through the LCC Nature Park. It is connected by six towers and gives you a bird’s eye view of the unique wildlife that inhabits the Lekki Conservation Centre.

The 2-km board offers excellent nature walks and bird watching opportunities.

TAKWA BAY


Tarkwa Bay is an artificially developed beach located in Lagos, Nigeria. This beach is an island and can only be accessed by boat or water taxis.
