THE MYTH; HON. BEDE EKE

Hon Eke is a youthful and astute politician who has a way of easily getting on with people, and whom his simplicity speaks for. He was born Bede Eke Uchenna ikechukwu in 1972 in his hometown of Nguru Umuaro in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. He is a politician and lawmaker serving as the member of the National Assembly representing Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency.

Hon. Bede served as a member of Imo House of Assembly, representing Ngor Okpala State Constituency from 2003 to 2011 to which Ngor Okpala can testify to his exemplary servitude. In 2015 he was elected under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives in continuation of the good works of his predecessor Rt. Hon. Ihedioha (The Incoming). His legislative interests border on education, oil & gas, appropriation, health, public accounts, poverty alleviation, etc. His scholarship programme can't be rivalled by few and his philanthropic gestures applauded by many. Bills have been presented, motions have been moved, projects has been attracted, the people are happy and to God be the glory.

On Thursday, 12th April 2018, he heeded the calls of his people and declared his intention to run for a second term for The House of Representatives seat of Aboh Mbaise / Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency on the platform of The People's Democratic Party. He contested for the party's ticket against four major aspirants, Hon. Mike Iheanetu, Chief Clement Oji, Barrister Patrice Akwara and the enigma himself, Hon. Bede Eke.

His emergence was heralded by all and sundry, and his promises of attraction of projects to his constituency, and purposeful legislation can't be overemphasised. The people of Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency are solidly behind you. With purposeful legislation, we will bring Abuja to Imo State.Let's make it happen again maka odinma Imo.
