It's on record that GEJ signed the amended 2010 electoral act into law 2 days to the election which gave a go ahead for INEC to make use of card reader..

Same APC urged GEJ to sign it then and accused him of being afraid of card reader introduction which gave INEC the discretion to use card reader

They later applauded the process after buhari won the election

Btw 2 days and 66 days, which is closer to election

From the onset, PMB have been sceptical about signing the new electoral bill that will strengthen the electoral process

He kept rejecting it with flimsy excuses from sequences of election to this latest one

The new electoral bill if signed will strengthen the electoral process and make card reader mandatory and not optional
It will remove the Lacuna faced by the court where varying judgements were given on use of card reader

While some courts nullified elections cos card reader was not used, others upheld it despite non use of card reader.. E.G is the rivers election

Secondly, the new act would have help to match accredited voters with votes as no incidence paper will be allowed .
It would have eased the transmission of result immediately than collating from wards to LG to state to Federal which will give room for manipulation of already counted votes

The idea of waiting for one results from kano or rivers while results are collated will be eliminated

The idea of using results from one state to increase the votes of another candidate or party will be eliminated as all votes will be transmitted simultaneously..

Refusal to sign means someone is afraid and wants to make use of these loopholes

Moreso, the electoral bill is applicable to all political parties.. The president ought to have consulted other political parties to get their inputs before rescinding..

This was same process GEJ did before signing the bill into an act ...

As it is now, pmb is having no inputs in strengthening the institution of the electoral process..

*APC HAS MADE PDP DANCE NAKED IN THE MARKET SQUARE:*

*DRUNKEN MASTER MAMBILLA SCAM*

*In January 2011, President Goodluck Jonathan government approved Mambila Hydro Power electric construction project at a whooping $37 billion USD to provide just 2600 MW.*

*On Tuesday 28th August 2017, PMB approved the same project at $5.7 billion USD to provide 3050 megawat and about 100,000 people in some communities would be resettled and out of the same $5.7 billion USD.*

*Another unique aspect of it is that Chinese Civil ENGINEERING Construction Company (CCECC), who won the project, will contribute 85percent of the fund while just 15 percent will be Nigerias counterpart funding.*

*The re-evaluation of this project would give Nigeria a huge difference of: $30 billion USD between what Jonathan approved in 2011 and what Buhari approved in August 2018!*

*We will also earn additional 450 megawtt at far less amount than what was approved in 2011.*

*Compensation for 100,000 dweller is also to be drawn from the new contract of $5.7 billion USD.*

*Now with the above elementary valuation, it is clear Nigerians made a good and prudent choice between PMB and GEJ in the last general elections.*

*... They won't want us to say it..... But we won't stop because Nigeria belongs to all of us.*

*They are pained because the unbridled theft of our common patrimony is now truncated. The wailers are hollering at the inability to plunder our resources as before .*
*Now, you know what clueless ness means?!*

*PLEASE SHARE WITH GOOD PEOPLE.*

*...Rotimi Fashakin.*

ATIKU’S ABRUPTLY SUSPENDED CAMPAIGNS
Though the Atiku Campaign Organisation is yet to give any official reason(s), indications emerging show that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s campaign may have been suspended abruptly. Last week saw the politician speaking at three hurriedly-organized and poorly-attended rallies in three of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
The heavily-financed and overstaffed Atiku Campaign Office which include 20 spokespersons, 25 research officers, 35 public affairs officers, 56 political specialists, 73 Information Technology (IT) full-time experts, 500 interns including several undocumented American, British, Israeli, and Arab expatriate advisors, according to a staff, scheduled to hold a rally in Yola, Adamawa state this week but was cancelled after a post-mortem analysis of the three rallies last week “for us to re-strategize.”
A source at the Atiku Campaign Office in Yola, however, confessed during heavy drinking with a CIA undercover agent that the Office decided to “temporarily suspend rallies” when the campaign “could mobilise people who were barely more than an airport welcome party in Yola.” He noted that the North-West and North-Central rallies at Sokoto and Kwara which are two states Atiku campaign depended on for votes in the North because they are supposed to be his strongholds recorded “some of the worst attendance we have seen since Atiku started contesting in the 1990s. They were so shameful we had to put the rallies on hold for now.”
To further show the Atiku Campaign is at low ebb, his campaign staff have broken off communications with the PDP secretariat. The holiday mood of his campaign team is partly responsible for his missing out of the signing of the Peace Pact with other presidential candidates at the International Conference Centre (ICC) yesterday in Abuja even though candidate Atiku himself was in the Federal Capital Territory at the time of the signing. One of his numerous spokesmen, Paul Ibe, said his principal’s reason for boycotting the event was that he “was not invited”. An intern at Atiku Campaign Office said “Nobody told us that the venue where the Peace Pact will be taking place was Abuja. The message was portrayed in a way that it might be in New York or any other US territory. The invitation noted that the US Ambassador, Stuart Symington, will be attending gave us the impression that our principal might be tactically or forcefully arrested for the Jefferson case in Washington.” He said further that while he was aware the US Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) or Interpol has no power of arrest on Nigerian soil, “Buhari and APC may just want to be too smart. So, we deem it fit to stay away because the Americans are working desperately with them against our candidate.” The source further noted that the clerk at the office of the PDP Chairman, Uche Secondus, who received the National Peace Committee (NPC)’s invitation letter on behalf of the party was the first to misunderstand the content of the NPC’s letter. Hence, he was trying to work for a pay rise, after being owed several months’ salaries, by not transmitting the letter to the Atiku’s campaign for his much-need presence in ICC yesterday.
In addition to already depleting resources, President Buhari’s Executive Order 6 is beginning to take its toll on the Atiku’s campaign. The Campaign which depends on heavily on the availability of money is currently being forced to operate on lean budget since key partners like the South-East and South-South PDP Governors, according to an expatriate, most of whom are currently engaged in political battles in their states seeking elections for possible second terms in office are not looking ready to bankroll Atiku’s Campaign. His running mate, fearing a possible defeat of a largely crumbling Atiku campaign, my sources reveal, has decided to minimize his risks by having to get his party to tell a bold lie that his bank account was frozen as a way of escaping funding a hopeless cause.
Noticing this, Atiku’s campaign office decided to suspend campaign activities till steady funding can be guaranteed. Several sources reveal that, in desperation, candidate Atiku is looking to some diplomats “who are ready to do good business” to help launder funds from some secret accounts in Dubai to prosecute the 2019 presidential election. The United Arab Emirates’ Embassy has reportedly alerted the Buhari-led Government on this plan which means Atiku have to thread with caution!

youngprofdguru:
The Presidency on Thursday said President Muhammadu Buhari did not sign the Electoral Amendment Bill because doing so might cause confusion and lead to anarchy.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Ita Enang, said this on Thursday during an interview on Channels Television Breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily.

He also disclosed that the President did not consult the other 91 political parties before refusing to sign the electoral bill because he needed to act in the best interest of the nation.

“Now, let me get to the other issue that Mr President alluded to, in not assenting to the bill. It is getting too close to election time and it will be dangerous to bring in a new electoral law at this time when the process of election has commenced from August, September, October this year. If you come to conclusion under a new law. It will cause confusion and may lead to anarchy.

“I think that what the President is to do is to take the best of discretion and from his vantage point as President of the country, to look at international best practices,” he said.

Various political parties and public interest groups have criticised the President for refusing to sign the bill.

So what exactly is the electoral act ammendment bill?
Goodness! See poor journalism? Isnt it the job of the media to inform the people? Wow! Really substandard work. Just like everything in Nigeria. You people can barely summarize neither do you know how to educate the people. You guys would be speaking big English in an attempt to feel self important. Rubbish! Absolute rubbish.

Never lie in a public forum. which 2010 amended electoral act was signed 2 days to election? If so,you mean the card readers where also imported from China 2 days to the election as well? man, electronic voting is not well captured in the act. don't forget too soon that the matter was taken to court. anyway, do ur research very well before assuming the truth.

Buhari won with the 2015 electoral act not 2010, it is more silly to think the 2015 electoral act was signed 2 days to the election.
Who will provide the infrastructure for INEC to transmit results in real time? what is INEC'S current budget?
If you dont think such law will amount to changing the goal post in the middle of the game, then, Atiku should use the same Lacuna/loopholes to win.

You just said it all. Buhari is not ready for free, fair and credible election in 2019. We must all stand up against any form if rigging.

APC in 2011

Some fools would come across your post and start masturbating over it without bothering to read thoroughly.

As for you, why do you do all these things? It is understandable if you hate Buhari. We can't expect everyone to like him. But please, stop peddling falsehood.

Take your time to read my post
There was no where 2011 was mentioned for APC

I made it clear that GEJ signed the amended 2010 electoral bill into law 2 days to the election of 2015
