After reading Linda Ikeji's epistle, she claimed that Sholaye Jeremi is Jayce's father but they haven't been an item since she was 3months pregnant. This means, if Sholaye Jeremi is named on the child's birth certificate and he doesn't give his consent, the child will not have US passport. A US born child under 16 cannot apply for US passport except the father named on the birth certificate gives consent by going to the US embassy in Nigeria, swear infront of a Notary public to obtain letter of consent DS 3053, and then send it to the mother to support the passport application. As can be gleamed from Linda's write up, she appeared bitter towards Sholaye. |

I don't think any sensible father hate good things for his child. He may despise the mother, dosen't mean he should punish his child. |
