1. Obi said African trade is less than 9%. False. Afriexim Bank puts intra-Africa trade at around 15% and Brookings Institute at 18%. 2. Peter Obi said total loans (credit) from banks to the private sector in Nigeria is N19 trillion, and only 0.5% goes to SMEs. False. According to CBN, the actual figure is N22.44 trillion and only 0.1% goes to the SMEs, as at March 2018. 3. Peter Obi said he deployed 30,000 computers to schools from HP. False. The actual figure is 22,500. 4. Peter Obi lied again. He said foreign direct investment to Nigeria in 2015 was $42billion. False. FDI in 2015 was $3.4billion. 5. Peter Obi said Nigeria has 2 million vehicles. False. Nigeria has 12 million vehicles out of which 6 million are commercial. 6. Peter Obi lied. Nigeria's unemployment is 14.2% according to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), and not 42% he claimed. Watch out for more of the fact-checking and verification of some of his claims~~~ 2 Likes 1 Share |

Warship: The apc zombies won't see this one. Blind to facts and the truth but quick to shout "sai baba" Whats the use of a president who doesn't value the life of his citizens? One who doesn't let them voice their opinions, one who doesn't provide a suitable condition for the citizens, one who promised to serve for only term but is here seeking for 'next level' Abeg, he should drop us here, we've suffered enough all in the name of change, we want no more 3 Likes |

Are you surprised? A man that once lied that he has only one wrist watch but Nigerians have seen him with more than ten different watches. A man that got into power with the Igbo party called APGA but later colluded with PDP to try and destroy the party. |

papiforreal:Ur figures r not even correct if u say Peter Obi's figures r lies.Hw do u certify a figure as correct?Different ppl will conduct research on an issue and they will emerge with different figure but d concern is that d figures shud be near certainty.Obi got it well. He flawed VP Osinbajo in that debate and no amount of paid media attack can erase it.Osinbajo is a professor of Law.Being a Professor does nt change anytin. He s good speaking on scripted work but lack indepth knowledge on issues of development. He s fluent but lacks reality.Osinbajo speaks like Labaran Maku former Min of Information.Better if APC had presented Kachukwu,Enenema or Fashola.Obi is a classical person, a master in d craft of business, economics&development. 1 Like |
