Just like at other clubs he have managed, the Portuguese finds himself in a familiar position of a third year syndrome at Premier League giants Manchester United.

On his first stint at Chelsea, he was sacked at the third year of his contract before he joined Madrid. He had some glorious years at the Spanish club before his third season syndrome came back again with reports he fell out with dressing room high profile players with Iker Casillas and fellow country man Ronaldo not to mention.

Unsurprisingly, he was sacked by Florentino Perez before Russian and Chelsea Billionaire Abramovich took him back to london where he won the league title for them but on his third season, the same old curse returned with him notably losing the dressing room this side and there were public spats between players and coach.
