Pavarottii: What do you know? If you want to know the answer to your question go back to 2015when PDP fought tooth and nail to prevent the inclusion of the use of the card reader in the 2we 015 Electoral act as amended. Fast forward to 2018, PMB withholding of accent for the third time was premised chiefly on NASS omission of the use of card reader in the Electoral bill Again, what do you know? |

INEC's intention is to use the card readers 100%, we all know that. But the reality is that they also know that card readers do malfunction and incidence forms will always be provided as a backup in every polling unit. Nothing will stop the use of incidence forms. 1 Like 1 Share |

PassingShot: It is really funny how some of you dish out lies. The bill made smart card reader compulsory but you are here saying otherwise. Please get or enquire from people who have seen the bill |

1sttruth:The bill was rejected for two major reasons: 1. To transmit results electronically. This can make it possible for Atiku and Sarathief to hack and distort result. 2. It also says "result should be announced by the returning officer" without saying it should be counted first before announcing as was provided for in the current Act. PMB is smarter than all of them combined. |
