Arsenal are set to face an FA sanction after Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli was hit with a bottle on Wednesday night.

Tottenham defeated the Gunners 2-0 to reach the Carabao Cup semifinals with goals from Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli.

MySportDab report the England international clashed with Arsenal fans in the 73rd minute.

After chasing a ball which went out of play, Alli was struck with a plastic water bottle from the crowd on the head.

Alli turned to the Arsenal supporters and mocked them by signaling the scores is 2-0 with his hands.

When asked about the incident, Alli told Sky Sports: "It is what it is. It made the goal a little bit sweeter and the win."
