"BUHARI'S AGRICULTURAL POLICY HELPED IN SAVING NIGERIA" - DUROSINMI TELLS FARMERS
- assures of supporting enabling laws

The agricultural policy of the President Mohammadu Buhari led federal Government have been described as one of the best policy to be made by a government in Nigeria, ditto, saving the country from the recession by improving on the GDP and the IGR. This was contained in the statement of the APC candidate for Ojo Federal Constituency, Omooba Yinka Durosinmi, during the National FADAMA community association's end of the year event to celebrate the achievements of the farmers.

While highlighting the agricultural programmes of the APC led federal government, Durosinmi said: "the Anchor Borrowers Programme is very good and timely, and also that of the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative, youth farm lab, the Food Security Council, and many other upcoming programme by the presidency are at the advantage of the local farmers."

"The Presidential Economic Diversification Initiative (PEDI), Launched in July 2017, the PEDI supports the revival of moribund industries (especially in Agro-processing), facilitating new investments, reducing regulatory bottlenecks and enabling access to credit is applaudable. PEDI has made breakthroughs in the agribusiness sector in Imo and Ondo States.", he added.

The hopeful member, further enjoined the farmers to embrace the federal government's policy.

"When elected, I will join other members of the National Assembly to ensure we make enabling laws that will help the farmers boost their productions", Durosinmi added.

many half brains in Nigeria.
If the so call agric policy is effective, how come price of food stuff are expensive?

It is common economics that ones supply exceeds demand, price will fall but if demand exceeds supply, price will go up.

That is the reason, price of rice and other food stuff remains high b/c the demand exceeds the supply.
