Jalingo – Taraba State governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship flag bearer for Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, has opened the state office of the 20 million Igbo for Atiku/Obi, with the promise that government would provide adequate security for the Igbo in the state during the 2019 general election. Ishaku, who was in Jalingo on Thursday, from Abuja where he was handed the flag of the party, was welcomed by party supporters at the Danbaba Suntai Airport, from where he proceeded to the newly commissioned office. In his welcome speech, state coordinator of the 20 Million Igbo for Atiku/Obi, Chief Obi Chris, declared that Igbo in the state would stay and vote in the 2019 elections. According to him, “On several occasions, the Igbo would abandon our place of trade and millions of naira business investments and run away for fear of insecurity during elections, thereby invalidating our votes, as we don’t cast votes in Taraba and cannot cast votes in our states of origin. Today, Igbo of Taraba have stood firm to educate and sensitise our brothers to stay and cast votes during elections.” He said the project was targeting 20 million Igbo in the 19 northern states and FCT for Atiku/Obi and 700,000 Igbo for Ishaku. He also appreciated the governor for appointing two Igbo sons in his government. In his response, Ishaku expressed his gladness for their decision to remain in the state and cast their votes and promised to provide security and the “wherewithal” for them to operate. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/12/labour-threatens-to-resume-nationwide-strike-january-2/ Lalasticlala, Mynd44

DonFreshmoney:Even with this your 21 states for Atiku analysis. Atiku will still lose. Kano and katsina's Vote alone will take care of the whole SE's vote. Kaduna, Kebbi, Bauchi and yobe will consume the SS vote. Lagos, Sokoto, Borno, Niger and Oyo will surpass the whole NC. Zamfara, Gombe will neutralize Taraba and Adamawa. Including Ondo and Ogun is delusion taken too far. Ekiti and Osun is just icing on the cake for APC 2 Likes |
