The Performance Management is but a process that provide a –feedback, accountability and documentation for any performance outcome and objective. It help the employees to a sort of channel their talents toward the organizational set objective.

The same is true that PM, in its share understanding of how individual contribute to organizational set objective, its effectiveness can be found through the appraisal process that focuses very often to align the workforce in the building of competencies. It is to improve performance through training and development that drive business result toward a set objective.

The aim and set objective of performance management is always to align any organizational objective with the skills, and competency of the employees. And it tends to involve creating a viable workforce with the understanding of what the organization want to achieve at the overall level.

The PM becomes important, and essentially through both formal and informal processes because it provide an avenue to align the employees and resources and indeed, the system to meet up with their strategic overall objective. Therefore, the PM comes to serve as continuous process of improving performance through the setting of both individual and team objective that are aligned to the strategic objective of the organizational planning performance to achieve the set goals.

It does this through reviewing and assessing progress made so far and developing the knowledge, skills and the abilities of the people to embrace the organizational set objectives.

The effective component parts of the performance management system could be found in the followings;-
1. Planning of performance, that includes employees’ goals and objective.
2. The dissemination of performance communication.
3. Observation and data gathering with documentations review.
4. Performance Appraisal meeting with discuss.
5. Coaching and training taken place .
6. The KPI (Key Performance Indicator), how it work.

The KPI is a quantifiable metric that tends to reflect how well an organization is actually achieving its set goals and objective. It does this through monitoring, and directly measuring how the system is meeting up with its long term set of goal and objective through its outstanding customer services.
