The British Deputy High Commission in Lagos has vacancies for (2x) drivers.

HCS Band C - DRIVER

The main duties are:

 Driving a range of vehicles within the BDHC fleet as directed by Transport Section supervisors

 Ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and spotlessly clean inside and outside  before starting on their journey

 Completing accurate journey record sheets for all journeys in official vehicles

 Ensuring that vehicle Daily Maintenance Check Sheets are properly completed for submission


Candidates should have a valid “Class E” Nigerian Driving Licence and relevant experience.  Applicants should also have neat, legible handwriting and a strong command of written and spoken English.  Applicants whose CV suggests they will be strong candidates for the job will be called to take a practical driving test, a written test both on vehicle knowledge and competence in English, and a medical examination before a final oral interview. The successful candidate will be expected to work on rotational shifts basis as demanded by the Transport Section

This is a fixed term 12-Month renewable contract from start date. The starting salary will be N68, 255 per month including allowances (note - medical allowance excluded).
