Ex-President Shehu Shagari is dead. Shagari passed away at the National Hospital Abuja on Friday. He was 93 years old. According to his grandchild , Bello Shagari , the elder statesman died after a brief illness. The former president , who was in power between October 1, 1979 to December 31, 1983, had an interesting lifetime .
