Npower Please Pay Our Stipends by champman(m): 9:35pm On Dec 30, 2018
I want to use this medium to remind the national coordinator of the Npower,Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, his promise, which has not been redeemed,as well as implore him to pay us(the nhealth volunteers of Owan West LGA of Edo) our long overdue stipends.
First of all,I thank the president, his vice and the national coordinator, for the engagement which the program has provided for thousands of our youths across the nation currently.
We have severally sent messages to the scheme's official Facebook and twitter accounts but no reply(s) to any of the messages,so we feel you can be reached via this medium
We are batch B beneficiaries of the scheme and this is the 5th month of our diligent and punctual discharge of duties at our respective PPAs without payment of our stipends.
We all have been duly cleared and 'enrolled'(as it is called) by the npower officials much long ago-which means we do not have any problem with our profiles. Why now delay the payment, when others(who even initially had problems with their profiles) have all received their payment?
Earlier this month, the national coordinator, while monitoring the program across the country, visited the above mentioned local government. That was when he was first notified of this issue, which he quickly responded to by promising that the backlogs would be cleared before Christmas-today is 30th! He even said that he had the list of the affected persons.
Sir,the situation now is very much daunting as we keep spending daily on transportation and other things to attend our PPAs-how do we cope with this-the 5th month?
We initially thought when the matter gets to your desk,it will be solved right away but now that you are even aware, made a promise and nothing done! What is now our fate?
Sir we hope to get a quick positive response from you as the situation is worse than discouraging right now.Thank you.
