I applied as a single mum also The below are what I provided: 1. My child bears her father's name on her Birth certiificate. So I declared I was single on my applicant. I got my baby daddy to sign a letter authorising me to travel with my child (Letter or Consent). I also notarised this 2. I downloaded another consent form on CIC site that her father filled and also signed and notarised 3. I attached his intl passport. 4. There's no harm in the child bearing your surname. U can put her father's name on the Birth Certificate 5. Try and be on good terms with him to get him to fill the above docs because it is highly necessary for this journey. 5. I wish her well and hope she gets to the promised land with her child quote author=Gifty28 post=94261829]Gifty28(f): 3:17pm Good afternoon everyone, for single moms who have gone through this process or for people who have ideas about this. (1) A friend wants to try this express entry process but she Just gave birth recently and isn’t with the baby’s father( she’s single not married) she wants to know how to go about it? She hasn’t collected her baby’s birth certificate yet and she wants to know if putting her surname on the certificate won’t have any issue with the immigration process concerning/asking about her baby’s dad?? (2) Will they ask for a consent letter from the child dad regardless of who’s surname is on the certificate? The guy isn’t in her life so she doesn’t want to even tell him anything about it, since it’s just her and her baby. Pls so many responses will be appreciated [/quote] 5 Likes 3 Shares |

I would assume you would be required to provide records to that effect. Rape - police record, sperm donation - hospital records, immaculate conception - records of crucifixion and resurrection. SlowlybtSurely: 13 Likes |

sweetrie: Una dey enjoy in Edmonton o. This is really cheap. Most 2-bedroom apartments over here usually have just one bathroom and the average rent is usually $1500 and above depending on the location. The few ones with 2 bathrooms are even more expensive. You people are really enjoying in Edmonton. 11 Likes |

Shyee: Hi, Got a quick question about FUTA and WES. My documents have been sent to Futa from WEs for verification. I wonder if there is anything I can do now to speedup the process. Is there going to be any need for me to make a courier payment once more? Thanks. |

If you are out and about as a new immigrant to Canada, you will run into organisations such as World Financial Group. In short, if you've ever intensively sent out CVs on Indeed, you've probably been offered a job by these companies. Always do your research so you can make an informed decision before becoming either a customer with or a broker for them. This article is quite balanced IMO 10 Likes 4 Shares |

Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by zaraman(m): 2:49am On Oct 05, 2020 |
And what is exactly wrong with such organization? I am yet to find anyone with a concrete reason aside from uninformed assumptions about them. Their business model may not be for everyone but this is almost norm with any 100% commission based firm in the insurance industry. If i have any reservation about them, it's probably ,most offices recruit anyone ,hoping to train them, which sometimes doesn't work as anticipated. Anyway, everyone should do their due diligence before joining any company. |

zaraman: you sounded a bit defensive. The link to the article attached to the comment was quite educative and nobody said anything was wrong (or right) about the organization. And I agree that everyone should do their due diligence. 5 Likes |
