You're very correct boss, price will definitely go the yellow way. Unfortunately, it didn't trigger my sell limit so I'll stay on the sidelines on this one and probably wait for a pullback of the breakout.

Okay I realize I have not been calling any trades here; as is the basic requirement. Starting tomorrow hopefully I can contribute what I can. Some little findings here and there not copied ideas or trades... I liked keeping a low profile better

Ps: if I can get 5 likes, it means I have audience. If not I will recoil back into my shell and not fulfill my promise...

I think the reason it didnt trigger your limit sell order is because, USD is getting weaker. Hasnt got enough strength to pull up and grab your sell limit order. For me also, my original sell was supposed to be at area highlighted in blue but price is failing to touch that area.
However, you see the area i highlighted in white color. If the daily closes very bearish as seen on this chart, price is likely to come around the white area again and if i get a couple of rejection in that area, i will sell from there.
If its doesnt work out as I wish, then i will wait for break out and retest of the yellow line.
Either way, goodluck to us all.

Yeah, that's true about the weakness of the USD. I had my sell limit the same area as yours. I really hoped it would take this order so that I can have a nice RR setup. But I'm letting it go. My target for every week is 250 pips which my Gbpusd has given me already (but I'm still riding it sha, till any funny candle formation shows up)

We should see some minor correction on GBP tomorrow I suppose.

LOL don't be too forward... I am using borrowed idea for first time that actually worked to some extent. But you can't see it because that is how I wanted it. Tomorrow my ideas...

All trades now closed. I have gotten more than enough of my weekly target. So I will be staying on the sidelines till next week, unless I see a really nice setup. My eyes are on USDCHF and GBPNZD.

I just doubled my second $100 account and would have closed this and opened a new one but I have a deal with infofirst. So I'll ride this one out.

Essentially saw this setup somewhere. Then, drew on my charts. It's a very good and beautiful price action setup. One could learn a thing or two.

1st picture.. Shows an ascending trendline with the first touch in December 2017, 2nd touch in September 2018. Our focus is on the 3rd touch in December 2018.

2nd picture shows our focus. When it touched the trendline the 3rd time. There was a bullish engulfing pattern. Also notice the place was a confluence of 2 supports. The ascending trendline being one, then the descending trendline of the downward movement that started in October/November 2018.
The bullish engulfing pattern signaled an upward move. This upward move led to a breakout of the descending channel. Entry after the bullish engulfing pattern would have been a good entry and would have fetched about 250 pips.

The upward move that followed the bullish engulfing pattern is now at an important resistance area.. A bearish engulfing pattern formed yesterday. Could this be signalling a downward move to test the ascending trendline for the 4th time?
Let us see what happens....

Re. USDCHF...
The 2nd picture is a Demo trade but the two pictures give me an opportunity to talk about a 50% retracement entry.
1st picture showed the formation of a bearish engulfing pattern. I essentially took the demo trade at market price after I was sure that candle would end the day as a bearish engulfing pattern. Not the best of entries. Sigh, I need to really finesse my entries.

But a 50% retracement entry would have been far better. And would have given a better entry.
A sell limit order at 50% of the engulfing candle would have been a far better entry. Price did retrace up in the next candle and the order would have been filled.

The problem with this kind of entry is price may not retrace at all. And one misses the trade. But when it works.. It can be great.

Again.. Let's see if USDCHF will continue downwards.

Mr Gbp can be very brutal. The correction might come or not. If the signs showed its only a tiny lot I will try but I will prefer to wait and rejoin the train.

Quick update and maybe until end of quarter before another update. Due to one thing or the other. The account experienced more withdrawals this month and less trades.

Below shots showed what is happening to Account A and B till date.
The goal is still four zeros by Dec 2019. And then to motivate someone somewhere and perhaps a kind-of journal for me.

It's really to a trader advantage if he can trade a demo account close to what he will when he goes live.
When my live accounts get there to four zeros again. Below shot will be what I will likely get on a very good trading day. I made $1663 today alone. And all that so far from the beginning of the month.

Live accounts doing great too. Until end of quarter before another update.

So I have reset the GU trade to close at breakeven (just a little move down). The trade has already evaporated and the chart doesn't look the way I want. I should have hit tp by now to claim it was a successful trade.


It is not an entirely new idea to me; but something I tried and dropped before because of not enough entry criteria...
