For some days now I noticed that some site doesn't always open on chrome browser but opens freely on other browser.

Initially I thought it had to do with the site but when it continued I tried other browsers and they opened normally.

I think there is a problem somewhere

Same here,I noticed that too

Re: Who Else Have Noticed That Some Sites Don't Open On Chrome? by daves2ng(m): 12:15am On Jan 02, 2019
It is very possible. Since chrome started their ChromeOs which is basically the same chrome browser upgraded to be a standalone operating systems, so many different issue have been coming up.
Chrome now has a kinda inbuilt antivirus that prevents execution of scripts it finds suspicious or it does not understand.

There was a time I was trying to implement simple chat plugin for my site and was getting error continually. I thought it was a code error someone until I tried firefox and it worked excellently well.

So yes chrome is blocking some sites and codes these days including those without https or the ssl certificate cannot be verified.

Happy new year

I noticed it. Even my girlfriend no dey gree open again.

Meanwhile, my neighbour wife delivered twin (two bouncing baby boys). But the problem na their dates of birth.

One was born last year (31/12/2018 at about 11:55 pm and the second one this year (1/1/2019 at about 12:03 am)

Now my neighbour is confused and has been in loggerhead with the hospital authorities as to the date to registered in the birth certificates as he can't afford to celebrate their children (twins supposedly) birth on two different days and years.
I dey my house now dey wait for them to come house come share us biscuits and fanta.

Also chrome is d worst browser for download, the worst browser ever for download,
that one na for Naija, Chrome na international brand that depends on ur local service provider to perform.
Try chrome on 5G network where u get speed of up to 4mb/sec. you go turn believer.
I hated Youtube until I left Naija.

No, you're wrong, I have been using this browser for a while, its the best, the only sites that doesn't work are those site using https but doesn't have an SSL certificate. They are tag unsecured

Lack of information, it was announced months back that chrome will not support site that is SSL secured, if the site you are visiting has no https it will not open. SSL certificate is a web software/tool that gives your site an official secure sockets layer status. Absorb this knowledge and stop complaining.
@OP this is the reason.

ATTENTION!!!!
IT is not the fault of CHROME!!! The problem is from Google. Any site built or developed via Blogger.com is very difficult to respond via mobile.

For example www.ebonyidaily.com.ng is from blogger, they upgraded to WordPress via www.ebonyidailynews.com

Blogger is now too traditional and may cease to exist before 2020.

Incorrect!

It's not just him. Betking has refused to open in my Chrome but opens in my Firefox & Opera and before you ask, my Chrome & Adobe Flash are up to date.

Nope its just you, intact chrome is the best browser for any websites
Re: Who Else Have Noticed That Some Sites Don't Open On Chrome? by numen(m): 3:37am On Jan 02, 2019
Betking has SSL and has refused to open in my Chrome. I don't believe it's all SSL issue...obviously.
