I've sold two phones and a ps3 cd on jiji, my only advice is that you be sure to meet with the seller before transacting. If you decide to pay before meeting the seller then you are as good as a naked man trying to climb over a barbed wired fence.

Ensure you visit seller with someone that understands iphones and has a similar model handy, to compare..........

First of make sure you meet in an open place eg eateries and meet up time should be during the day 12pm - 4pm .


Secondly go with 2 or more friends just to be on the safe side.

Lastly make sure you check everything about the phone you’re buying and ask questions.

Spotting a fake iPhone is as easy as abc.

Just copy the imei of the iPhone u want to buy and run a check on iunlocker. net or imei24 .com

U can also trying opening 'Apple store' app on the iPhone. (U need data to do that.) If it takes you to google playstore instead, then it is fake.

U can also try login in to icloud if you already have an icloud account.

Take that money to reputable shops in Ikeja and get it. At least you have somewhere to return to if there is a problem.

U can buy phone from anywhere.... Jiji, olx, etc. just make sure u take all the advice stated above
