The Minister of Defense, Mansur Dan-Ali, on Wednesday visited Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on the requests of President Muhammadu Buhari, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports.

Buhari gave the mandate, following the ongoing assaults in the Northern piece of the state.

This was unveiled to newsmen by Dan-Ali after he held a two-hour critical shut entryway meeting with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.- Gen. Tukur Buratai, at the Military Command and Control Center.
