​The Management of Ecobank Nigeria Limited has announced the promotion of about 1,000 top performing staff.

This latest promotion exercise is in line with its commitment to recognise and reward excellent performance amongst its staff. The promoted staff cut across all cadres of the workforce.

Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria, Patrick Akinwuntan, who announced the promotions in Lagos, stated that the bank is fully committed to rewarding excellence and will continue to take appropriate positive actions in line with international best practice to sustain excellence in its work force.

Akinwuntan stressed that Ecobank Nigeria would also continue to simplify its operations and enhance its systems to better serve customers so as to be ahead of the

competition in the industry.

“Our focus on the customer, staff and digital platforms are key components of our strategy targeted at reinforcing our position as the leading pan-African bank.

“We will continue to align our people composition, development, recognition and rewards to position us to embrace best practice service models and technologies to enable us deliver on improved customer experience,” he said.

The promoted staff were selected through Ecobank Group’s standardised performance management system.

Thumb up to the Mgt of Ecobank. While some companies are downsizing heavily they're among the firms promoting their employees massively.

It's not easy especially during this election period.

Seems unbelievable that they still have quality staffs left. Thought they are all the same. Congrats to the candidates.

They are still improving and so far so good, their system has stabilized now. The transfers are getting smoother now. We believe all is for the best.

Not at all. You can't even recharge through their App or code; sometimes your account would be deducted without crediting your line.

Shut up! It's like ur a staff of that stupid bank.

This bank offers the worst in terms of services delivery in Nigeria. Their Network is always flunctuating. Online services very poor. I was debited #6,350 since 1st of December, 2018 and they are yet to reverse it after I've complained over 5times. Closing both my savings and current account immediately after they reverse the money debited.

About time. Hopefully aunt Grace would look more cheerful when attending to me on Monday.
