In a statement by Ganduje media aid Salihu Tanko Yakasai. the Underpass was initiated and completed by the administration of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Salihu added that President Muhammadu Buhari will officially inaugurate the Underpass this January.

"Definitely Kano is an object of pride to the Kanawa's. We are grateful to Baba Ganduje. He will do 8 years inshaAllah" - Said Salihu.
