I made a previous thread on why you should stop using MTN, you can check that on my profile. I suggested Globacom as an alternative to MTN but why exactly should you consider using GLO.
There are four major network/internet providers currently in Nigeria which include; Glo, MTN, Airtel and the other one nobody ever uses. GLO has strived to provide optimum internet and call services to a large number of companies and individuals. The main reason people consider a brand is its afforadability, are their plans cheaper than the competition, do they provide customer support etc I make use of GLO and I'm here to tell you there is no other network better than GLO.
Their plans or tariffs are one of the cheapest (I stand to be corrected), they offer night plans for those who love to download movies at night, including a 3-day plan of 1.2Gb worth #200. Standard call rates, bonus on every recharge and a data monitor.
Here is something I want to highlight, I've observed GLO has a way of conserving your data especially if it's little; A 10mb plan will hardly get exhausted since they throttle the speed to make sure you get the best out of it (browsing/WhatsApp) while a larger plan will be used adequately.
I also make use of Airtel and I can assure their data dont last like that of GLO (zapping), before even activating the plan you've probably lost about 30% of your data bundle under Airtel.
Most people make complaints about GLO being slow or some stuff like that, this is one of the greatest fallacies of all time because I haven't really seen anyone in real life complaining about GLO speeds it's only on social media indicating they are mostly satire jokes aimed at the company by competitors and haters. Some say the speeds are awesome in the city or urban regions compared to villages that don't even really have electricity, well let's call it for what it really is; poverty. You don't expect to receive reception in mountains and deserts that some people choose to live in, so if you want to enjoy that fast network speed, leave your village and stop being poor.
Lastly, GLO has blessed us with constant 4G LTE speeds that has rivaled most of the competition and they did it so effortlessly so make the wise choice today.

But the band 28, program for the Glo4g lte isn't available on many 4g enabled phones. That's the issue with many people.

You really don't know Glo 4G.
Its frequency is very rare, very few phones supports Glo 4G.
Glo 4G is not everywhere.
You see, I cannot just go and buy a 4G phone just like that. Be sure of what you preach.

Here I am thinking of one good reason why you stringed words together to form this stupid post.

What was your point exactly? To make jest of those living in the village/rural areas? How does it automatically denote laziness? Overall how does your post highlight Glo as a better choice?

You never stated anything unique or captivating or anything that acts as an incentive. You just posted utter poppycock. You had better re-evaluate your life and think of ways to makes things better for yourself.

Glo is a DEMONIC network, I subscribed to their data package successfully but can't use it, it's slower than snail . Removed the useless SIM and flung it in the trash can. Mind you I stay in a state capital

Glo is slow and they pride themselves in it. Thanks to people like you. I'm yet to see someone who is using GLO at an explosive speed. Imagine Glo 4G in my area using downloading at less than 1MBPS something my 3G on Airtel doesn't even do anymore as I get close to 2MBpS on theirs. Don't let me compare Airtel LTE and Glo as that would be an overkill. It's could be cool in some places but what's the essence when 90% complain, 6% feel indifferent and 3% says it's fast (very insignificant number). Airtel doesn't zap on my device as I do monitor data usage and my phone shows me how much each app consumed and it tallies with my balance when I check. You can do same to know if they zap on yours or not.

Peace

About two people are currently using Glo 4G on a device with no band 28 and they're both in Ibadan. Just take it with pinch of salt though and keep your fingers crossed.

Glo 4G is super fast where I'm at, even their 3G easily gets me more than 1MB/s not to talk of 4G, it all depends on where you stay.

The 90% complaining can get another network. MTN 4G is very shitty in my area but I don't complain, i just moved on to another network with good coverage where i stay.

MTN fast zapping of data pushed me back to Glo (I used Glo in owerri back then in 2016 and their service was frustrating to say the least), the funny thing is...... I haven't regretted it....... I used the data finish on time and it lasts far more than other networks'.

Who ever makes decisions in Glo must be dummy, how can you chose band that phone makers rarely add to their phones, MTN is ahead for a reason and we can see one of the reasons from their choice of 4G band, the 2 bands mtn is using always comes with every phone manufactured by any manufacturer. It is very rare to see any phone without the two bands let alone one but reverse is the case for Glo.

Aside their data, glo isn't cheap. Their call rate is still expensive compare to mtn. The data speed is poor. That you haven't meant any complained about their speed doesn't mean it doesn't. I travel a lot and I can tell that their data speed is poor in many locations.
