PRESS RELEASE FROM THE UNIABUJA SUG ON PULL OUT FROM NANS!!!
Solidarity greetings from the stable offices of the entire members of University of Abuja Students Union Government.
It is of no doubt that the resultant hullabaloo over Wednesday's (January 2nd 2019) meeting of NANS President with the Federal Government has brought more disgrace than ever before to the spirit of Unionism across the country.
Hence, we condemn in strong terms, the 'Money-change-hands' compromise reached by both parties in ensuring that the average Nigerian Students interests are short-changed rather than being represented positively.
The Bamidele Danielson's-led NANS Leadership has repeatedly shown disregards to heirrrachy, Principles of Unionism and total abuse of office.
His actions is a slap on the face of FCT JCC axis and University of Abuja Students Union Government. These, will not go unquestioned. We, the students of University of Abuja Representatives have chosen a path of dignity, justice and true representation of the Masses.
Therefore, on this regard, University of Abuja Students Union Government hereby announces her *Temporal Pull Out of all NANS activities* until she (NANS) decides to take the course of True Representations Of The Nigerian Students as enshrined in the Principles of her formation rather than the ongoing greedy and kleptomaniac conglomerate it currently runs!
Finally, the University of Abuja Students Union Government reiterates her determinations to continue to be an epitome of True Unionism as the interests of the entire Students of University of Abuja remains our utmost priority and guiding principles. God bless you all as we await resumption in soonest time!
