The former chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Major General Musa Bamaiyi (rtd) is dead. Bamaiyi, the elder brother of the detained former chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-General Ishaya Bamaiyi (rtd), died in Zuru, Kebbi State yesterday. The deceased's son, Kaiku who confirmed the death of his father on telephone yesterday evening said late Bamaiyi had been ill of an undisclosed ailment in the last three days. He said the deceased who died yesterday afternoon has since been buried in Zuru, his hometown according to muslim rites.
