So, movie producers should get Cable providers to pay higher for their content.

Also, has anyone thought about streaming ? A streaming service for Nollywood films might do the trick...pay per view.

Who wants to stream their rubbish movies?

Some people like Nollywood, and an online streaming platform might bring in new fans.

(I am not a fan of Nollywood, but anything good for the industry means more jobs for Nigerians, more prosperity for our economy.)

You are putting the cart before the horse.

They need a structure first.

Look at Bollywood. They have witnessed tremendous growth, all thanks to structure.

If Nollywood does not make a foundation, everything else will fail.

Data is precious. Nigerians would ready watch Nollywood movies for free or get cheap rentals. But to stream, they would rather stream properly made foreign movies or just watch porn.

Everybody is the devil except him ba? The guy need to check himself abeg. Don't be deceived by his innocent looks and his good loverboy fine roles he played in movies. That my friend doesn't translate into good personality. I have no issue with him but over the years I have read about him as always fighting everybody. He blames the system that make him. Why not produce good movie like Genevieve, Kunle Afolayan is doing to set Nollywood on good track than attacking everybody but yourself. His wife has left him long, yet he still attack her and her Pastor at the slightest opportunity.

The guy should just move on abeg. His Children are in his care damn it. What else does he want?
In that case, you didn't read the interview very well. I can never believe that Emeka Ike is a bad person. Okotie contributed in destroying his marriage, although he (Emeka Ike) pushed his wife to the wall initially. Besides, he's not doing badly. That Dbanj is no longer releasing music doesn't mean he's doing badly. Emeka Ike is not a bad person. Nobody is good anyway. Those people he clashed with, might have wronged him. You never can tell.

Emeka is correct. Cable TV has messed up the home video industry. Most people would rather watch films on DStv than buy vcd like back in the day.

VCDs, CDs is dead. Newer electronics don't have a space/slot for CDs but USB cord and Bluetooth. This man is living in the past. He should wake up. We're in 2019

I was a member of Chris okoties church, there is some truth in what he is saying, okotie has a history of separating couples. If you go to his church you will notice certain odd things about him. That pastor is having affairs with some of the ladies in his church. Am close to one of them, IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW

I was a member of Chris church, okotie is not a clean man as most of his members see him. Most people won't understand
