What is wrong with us in this country? Our penchant for corruption is mindboggling.

A govt official has been found wanting, petition against with damning evidence.

Why can't we allow the same govt he serves prosecute him in peace? Legal prosecution against Onnoghen offers him a platform to defend himself and clear his name of alleged corruption.

It's disappointing seeing supposedly honourable Nigerians, groups and media threatening the govt in this regards.

We are endemically corrupt to say the least. We are our own curse.

I still don't understand why we are not allowed to hold our leaders to certain standards. Why can't the CJN be allowed to defend himself? Will it be any different if he wasn't the CJN?

Fellow Nigerians, let us stop being soft on crime and breaking of the law.

Ignorance is said not to be an excuse, or couldn't our chief justice update his asset declaration when he must have remembered it wasn't truly complete?

If this, or what Kemi Adeosun did happened in China, Korea or Japan, we have an idea of what would have happened to them.

Let us be strict in handling law matters and sanity would be restored to an extent.

This is our only home.
We have no where to run to.

The fool roped himself. How much is the salary of a judge? How did he aquire so much foreign currency and wealth ?and why was he operating several domicilliary accounts without declaring them as a CJ?sorry the judge bleeped up so whether is close to election or not,a man of his level should have been smarter than this.

Premium Times argued that the head of the country’s judiciary cannot be prosecuted while in office until he is oust by the National Judicial Council which must take the decision if the judicial officer is found wanting after its investigation brought against any judge.

Lifeless wants to throw this country into unaffordable crisis, because he knows he will lose woefully in the coming election.

Buhari said he has declared his assets and directed Nigerians to approach the CCB who refused to make the assets known to Nigerians.

Now, CJN Onnoghen declared his assets and the CCB is expected not to disclose content without the approval of the the accused.

I want to ask, who showed the APC group that filed the petition the assets declaration form of Onnoghen?

Who do you think ?

That is by the way now. What we need is a kindler to set fire to Nigeria that we may remove Buhari. Onnoghen will serve that purpose.

Nigeria is like a movie industry. The only problem is that it keeps producing fake movies and it has worsened since the coming of this APC government.

You are politically naive and taking like a child.

Let us assume for instance that the CJ is actually in the wrong. The petition against him was written 7 days ago. The government moved with lightening speed. There are people with petitions dating back years. Why have they not been prosecuted ? Their crimes were committed before his.

IAM thinking of Akpabio, muazu, adeosun, Babachir Lawal, Abdulrashid Maina. Your chief of army staff - one Burutai fellow saved up $5 million dollars to buy a house in Dubai from his salary of N950,000 per month. The government has not investigated.

Can you point out where they're being partisan? Or do you perhaps think the Judiciary belongs to a particular political party?

Do not be sympathetic to their plights.

History has shown that they are not worth fighting for--they insult their defenders and praise/defend their oppressors.
The law of Natural selection is the final arbiter.

So Jiti Ogunye, who runs his own legal chambers, is now one and the same entity as 'Premium Times'? angry

When is Nairaland going to stop promoting #FakeNews by the truckload?

P.S - It takes some temerity for an unethical blog like Political Times to describe an award winning media house like Premium Times as "an online news medium". Then again, it is that crazy season when the few standards that still exist become malleable.

Say no to #AtikulooterCONtinua
Say no to #Lootocrats

The premium times have made their analysis and stated facts of the case.

A CJN cannot be ousted just like that, There's a procedure for doing it n Apc must follow it 100%
