Re: Is Etisalat's N15/per Min To All Networks A Ruse? by DEngineer(m): 1:29pm On Aug 12, 2010
well, there are more services Etisalat renders that's better than the whole service MTN or Glo renders, like the 1 free minute for any 3 minute received from other networks.
and the You & Me feature is also cool, i understand MTN is now emulating the 1 free minute for every 5 minute calls received from any network.
well Etisalat is very INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE, Kudos to them,
lest i forget, the Home Zone thing is also cool.

Its still working, all u have to do is to activate it using the code *230*1#, enjoy it while it lasts.
Re: Is Etisalat's N15/per Min To All Networks A Ruse? by kachijack(m): 1:38pm On Aug 12, 2010
This is definitely not a ruse, this promotion has been going on since May, it however now involves the SS, SE and NE regions only for the time being, to enjoy it, just dial *230*1#, a daily fee of N10 is charged and you get to make calls at 25k per sec to every network within Nigeria, you cant beat Etisalat on that, even the new price regime that the other network are introducing still doesn't counter what Etisalat has had on ground since launch.

Re: Is Etisalat's N15/per Min To All Networks A Ruse? by temisafety: 6:01pm On Aug 12, 2010
The N15 thin is working very well. Though it takes an unusually long time for a dialed number to connect, so you need to wait for something like half a minute after dialling. I've found the promo/service very useful and barely use MTN since I subscribed. Etisalat customer service too is much much much better.

Number portability is possible and in fact desirable but it's yet to be implemented in Nigeria. NCC should be pressured to get the PTOs do it. Then you can switch from one network to another, to take advantage of the best service or offering, without losing/changing your number.
