An Edo man was beaten to a pulp, for attempting to rape a lady he invited to his house in Ihama GRA, Benin City.

According to a friend to the victim who wants to anonymous, she narrated how the man called her friend to come and collect a phone he bought for her.

On getting to his house, he brought condom and said to her that he wanted to feel alright but she refused then he started beating her with curtain rails and cutlass.

The lady was later rescued by the neighbours who heard her countless shouts and call for help. After the rescue, the man was paraded by the neighbours and other residents who dealt with him mercilessly.
