There is no country in the world where participation in an electioneering debate is compulsory.

More often than not, debates are meant to sway undecided voters and NOTHING more; since programs and plans of candidates for an election are already in the public domain.

So, what should normally happen in a situation where a candidate decides not to participate in a debate? The answer is simple, he loses the votes of the undecided voters.

In the case of our Amiable President, Okechukwu EniOlohunda Muhammadu Buhari, he will most likely not participate in the presidential debate being put together for presidential candidates for 2019 election. What should naturally happen is for those who want to base their decision on voting him or not, to vote Atiku or someone else.

I do not see why anyone should lose their sanity about this very simple issue.

Personally, I do not want to see PMB share the same podium with a fugitive who is known worldwide to be hopelessly corrupt. Doing what together on that stage? Sorry, I have special aversion for corrupt souls and I will withdraw my support for Buhari if he decides to debate with Atiku.

He is not attending the Debate cos he is not physically and mentally fit. Buhari mental capacity as at today isn't higher than that of a 12 year old. Old age and sickness. To bring Buhari to a live debate is to completely destroy him.

It has nothing to do with the debate's importance after all it is same debate Osibanjo attended.

Anybody who votes for him again is simply sick in the head.

The presidential system that's in operation in Nigerian is from where? I put it vto you, go and find out b/4 you open your vocal cavity to spew nonsense.
How many times had a presidential candidate absconded from debate? If the president is incapacitated, voice out, the constitution will show us the way as usual.
You are nothing but a passive conspirator!
