NITEL's problem in my opinion was two fold

1.It was run as a government company....

2.It also was not earning enough cash to keep it prospering.

As for the privatization....yes, the company that bought NITEL was problematic....but they also had the highest bid. Still...other companies like ERICSSON bid for NITEL as well...wonder why government did not sell to them.

3.NITEL could not compete with the GSM companies...either in terms of technology or finances.

If I was government...I would start a telecoms company as a GSM company.

Nowadays we have GSM companies with probably at least 15 million subscriber bases.

The reason I take Atiku over Buhari is not because he is great or good. I just have a problem with a whole number 1 of naija, spending 100 days somewhere not in naija and e no even worry am; Nna eh, that is the worst wey e do to me, then his policies are not bright at all; he is also not a confident person outside the country but when e come back e go dey front one kind body language;

My stance be say if you don't show upward progression in 4 years, then go home. Go hard for Nigeria even if na one month wey you get the chance to lead eg my prof; or you go home. Time no dey, Nigeria suppose dey league with china even yankee; Nigeria is where africa melt together. Our current presido no even understand that, which is sad.

My problem with atiku is his jollyness with a known cultist like wike. But he should be given a chance to grow nigeria, while at it we will observe his relations with people.

The stench and menace buhari/APC are on all fonts necessitated the need for a character like Atiku to be an option...So many people i know off-line are willing to grudgingly line up behind Atiku if that will ensure the plague called buhari/APC are voted out..

Besides most Yorubas like you did not vote for buhari either when he contested the first three times,calling him all sorts of name then because your 'son' Obasanjo was in power..

..but because of your parochial tribal interest via Tinubu and Osibande,he is now the best thing after sliced bread
