I disagree with you on your saying concerning the US debate.. The US debate plays a greater impact on how the electorate will cast their vote.. If Trump decides to skip debate in the US, he is likely to lose 99% of his chances of becoming the president..

The US and your country are not mates when it comes to election, so don't take your comparison to them..

Then is it playing the same role in Nigeria? If your answer is yes, then Jonathan, Obj, and yaradua who refused to debate during their time would not have been president.

Besides, do we debate just for the sake of it? What new thing do We want to know about Atiku and buhari? Both have been in different levels of leadership in this country, buhari is still leading and he is not pretending about his style of leadership, Atiku was vice president for 8 years and his antecedents are on everybodys' lips, and he has told us he will sell NNPC if elected. he sold Nitel and other national assets before and we are seeing how they are performing. He has equally sent his manifesto to the public since last year. So what else do we want to know? Is to ask them if they will change?

If other candidates have chance in this election as it stands today, I would have said ok, since we haven't seen or know their style, lets go debate. But as it stands today, it will amount to waste of time.
