Abuja – Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has accused the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar of being an accomplice to the collapse of Bank PHB.

He said Atiku’s name was linked to one Claremont Management Services account through which N165 million was credited to him, a development that culminated in the grounding of the bank.

Lai made the allegations on the heels of Abubakar’s visit to the United States on Thursday.

The Minister said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was not perturbed about the latest America trip even though they dared him to visit the country.

According to the Minister, Atiku could go ahead to obtain the American green card but that it would not stop his defeat in the forthcoming polls slated for February 16.
