Seven children of Jeremiah Oghoveta, an All Progressive Congress chieftain who was murdered during the party’s ward congress last year have been offered scholarships by the Delta Central Senator, Ovie OmoAgege.

The scholarship awarded according to reports gathered from several media aides of the senator will run from primary through secondary school to university level.

This is to compensate the family of the deceased chieftain and also to ease the pressure on the family he left behind.

Late Mr Jeremiah who was a ward chairmanship candidate tipped for victory was shot to death during the APC’s May 5th 2018 ward congress at Okwagbe in Ughelli South, Delta State.
