Good day everyone, a friend is confused about choosing a career in engineering which is either civil or mechanical engineering. He's more concerned about the employment opportunities and how lucrative they're both practically in Nigeria and abroad. I'd appreciate reasonable comments. Thanks in advance.

I studied civil engineering, currently serving though. With the little job application/recruitment have seen so far I think he should consider mechanical engineering. I might be wrong though
