Can good meter be provided to every home?
of course, even within record time. Pre-paid meters are no special devices but for the greed of all those in the power sector hence why it became nuclear technology to provide for the costumers.

The next step should be refunds to Nigerians who have been systematically duped by this process.

Estimated billing the biggest scam in Nigeria

Criminalising it is a good way of fighting corruption not all these media trials apc is using to hogwash the public.

All of this is happening under Buharis administration but you still critisize them? You would never not stop blaming them if something bad happens that is not even remotely related to this government.

Hope it flies
I sincerely hope so too since the National Assembly seems to be the last hope of the suffering and highly exploited Electricity consumers.

I have said it many times that NERC is NOT on the side of Electricity consumers. They keep on shifting the commencement of MAP forward to the satisfaction of DISCOS. The Chairman of NERC is corrupt and should be removed.

The DISCOS are telling NERC that the Electric tariff is low and NERC and the Minister of Power are listening to them instead of letting the DISCOS know that it is highly improper and unfair to allow any tariff increase when the majority of Electricity consumers are NOT Metered.

We should really applaud the House of Representatives for standing with the people!

Indeed, I once told someone here that it was NEPA that escalated corruption in Nigeria when they began giving estimated billing to the masses. When NEPA began giving estimated billing to people who have meter, they literally taught Nigerians house by house how to be corrupt as people began bargaining with NEPA officials and cutting corners instead of paying for amount of electricity consumed.

Today, the police is doing the same.

He has created an enviroment for the right thing to be done. Many past administrations will not allow a bill like this to see the light of day. But it can be done in this administration.

Why can't he create environment for obeying court orders.
If there is anyone who should be praised for this it is saraki because he is the head of the legislative arm of government

And is it your demonic party PDP that sponsored the bill?

If that ineffectual Buffon had not sold the DisCos to his girlfriends and made the license irrevocable nigeria would’ve been enjoying some level of stable electricity now but even with all their sabotaging Gor is still above you and them.

Now they know it’s the year for renewal and they know the president will never renew their licenses, they’re are jittery and sponsoring all kinds of campaign against PMB.
