According to Edouard Pailleron, a French poet and dramatist he said and I quote: “have success and there will always be fools to say that you have talent.” From his statement, we can observe that-- talent is often overrated and equally misunderstood all the time.

That is why when people achieve great things, people always explain their accomplishments by attributing it to talent. Then, why do we know highly talented people who are not successful if talent is enough?

This particular issue is a misleading guide to many business leaders who go ahead thinking that, talent is the answer to every problem. That is why many companies and consultants stretch themselves in recruiting people they assumed with talents ahead of everything else.

Some companies go ahead to hire PhD holders from top universities, promote them quickly and equally reward them lavishly and forget to accurately assess their performance.
