Nairaland has different sections to cater for different needs, you don't need to rely on Frontpage to be updated.

If you are a car fan, there are topics there updated every hour, same for pet, education, politics, family, romance etc. Go there
Frontpage is for trendy news which most times in Nigeria, unfortunately, are those women topics

I am also on Quora, I select categories of interest to me and receive notifications when an interesting post is made, I rarely check their Frontpage.

Nairaland is the most easily accessible platform in Nigeria at the moment.
I remember in a village when my android phone was down, the only news platform that could load on my pako phone was nairaland

I think Seun should tarry until broadband access, power supply and smartphone usage are a bit improved before adding heavy features to Nairaland
