Re: Army Seize Trailer With Ballot Boxes In Kaduna(presidential election) by Mamajama(m): 3:59pm On Apr 20, 2007
I seriously don't think it belong to PDP. common sense it it belong to PDP and the governor of that state and the chief executive officer would have made the appropriate calls to get it under the carpet. This story wont be publicize if it belong to PDP. This is just one act of deceit the politicians are using to gain grounds.

If its legitimate and since they have the culprits they should be jail for life for this crime. I hope they get the godfather or who is the sponsor.
Re: Army Seize Trailer With Ballot Boxes In Kaduna(presidential election) by McKren(m): 4:45pm On Apr 20, 2007
Frankly no one knows the truth, we have seen all sorts of desperation in this country in the run up to this election. We have even seen people incite Naija delta youths against a Government they are part of. So you never can tell who is behind all these

It could be the PDP trying to rig, it could also be the opposition trying to blackmail the PDP. No one knows.
Some have told us today that they are only taking part in the election so that they are able to inititiate a legal proceeding against the election. They even pointed out that they hope that they are able to gather much facts and proofs of irregularities to back up their case.

So you never know, as much as it could be a PDP rigging it could as well be a blackmail.

But the truth of the matter is, Elite politicians as a whole (Ruling party and opposition inclusive) should be ashamed of themselves for their desperation. Not even Clinton will give Nigeria a free and fair election in this sort of atmosphere. People are just so ambitious and desperate, no single regard for the people's interest.
They should bury their heads in shame.

From today's Punch:
There were no ballot boxes in the lorry. Just Taliban reinforcements with their weapons. They've been handed over to security agencies.
Says a lot about the much hyped thumbprinted ballot papers that AC wanted us to believe.
Re: Army Seize Trailer With Ballot Boxes In Kaduna(presidential election) by alabiyemmy(m): 5:41pm On Apr 21, 2007
Atiku and AC's propaganda.
Re: Army Seize Trailer With Ballot Boxes In Kaduna(presidential election) by Nobody: 7:18pm On Apr 21, 2007
If the army actually intercepted ballot boxes, it's an indication that OBJ isn't directly involved in all the rigging going on. The rigging is obvious though, anybody on the ground has seen it!. . .The rigging is an insult to our intellect because it is overt, no attempt to hide or mask it and truly, it will backfire on PDP.
