Hello?
The CJN is Public servant, CCT IS A COURT FORMED FROM THE CONSTITUTION.

if you have forgotten there was a case for hearing against the CJN at the CCT which he failed to appear, only his army of SANs were present, that case was adjourned, so how come the case was adjourned if it was no case?

Since you are so smart pls can you educate me on the functions of the CCT? or is it that the CCT has the power to summon the president but does not have the power to summon the CJN?

Look there are a lot of holes in this your sick profession called law, and there are a lot of holes on this your playing ground called the Constitution.
The same twist and turn the you are trying to employ, is the same twist and turn the presidency is employing. And you won't stand a chance against the president with all the resources at his disposal. Park up and go back to the drawing board, you have lost this particular battle.

yawns ! another frustrated dimwit.

Here is the Code of conduct bureau act that absolves the CJN of any wrongdoing....for those using the 'forgot' propaganda to place media verdict on the CJN.

CJN made an admission of non-compliance, hence the CCT has no jurisdiction to even try him.

You see why they rushed everything including the yeye suspension?
after he was dragged or brought before the law and court not by himself without any prompting .....try another strategy or go to court to explain this BS!

The problem is not that he forgot to add the account. It is the cash flow.

If he hasn't touched his salary account in years, how has he been feeding and the likes? That is why people hide certain accounts.

Also the movement of money in and out are suspect and that is why he is in front of the tribunal
so many senior lawyers are rich, even Femi Falana probably have up to 100m in his account. The cash flow won't fly in the court of law that's why APC government is not going along that line.

Find another story this one won't fly

there should have been no trial because the principal in question had already admitted to negligence.

Or you mean you can't read and understand at the same time?
he was actually exposed and jail was looking at him eye ball to eyeball before he ,without option, agreed that he messed up in that word 'forgot'! No sir ,it is you who can not reason because your brain had been onnoghed! Let me upgrade you ; the CJN bureau da Chanji was dragged before a law court CCT,solely empowered by the constitution to handle asset declaration issue ,and to which the CJN in 2013 in a landmark supreme court judgment had affirmed its superior power in asset declaration issues in Nigeria. Same CCT whose court Onnoghen is presently standing says Onnoghen must step aside pending the determination of the suit before it as Mr Bureau da chanji can't be a judge in his own case as the chairman of NJC even if the matter would come before the NJC that the ex -CJN illegally suspended indefinitely few days ago . And the president who you lots have been accusing of not obeying courts orders decided to swiftly obey the CCT. So why the funeral?

bros which one is cash flow? Is it also amongst the charges at the CCT?

Speculations are not basis for any conviction.I was also wondering how Yusuf Buhari was able to acquire a N56m bike so should I say his father should resign for that?

How was Osibanjo able to acquire $900k and N94m he declared. How was he able to own houses in VGC and other posh places in lagos that he declared

Nna e, these guys are just unbelievable.

Suspicious transactions are under the purview of EFCC and NFIU, how it concerns the CCB/T is what I don't understand.

But truth is that every Nigerian intelligent enough to read and understand knows that all this has nothing to do with the fight against corruption and all to do with 2019 elections. So there is really no need for the deliberations.

So you are ignorant of the political undertone? Who does the CCT chairman work for? Who is his boss?
kahal29:

Op do you know more than the CCT chairman, justice Danladi who issued the order? Do you think he doesn't know the section you are quoting or do you think he has not read it over and over again? See before he issued that order of suspension he knew that Onnoghen is going down and there is no way he will extricate himself from the allegations.

Besides if Onnoghen forgot to declare maybe one or two of the accounts maybe it wouldn't have been necessary to continue the case but in this instance he forgot to declare five different accounts which contained various huge sums of moneies in local and foreign currencies.

Haba.....

So if someone genuinely forgot? You think declaring assets is a piece of land and a car? We are talking of people with over 30 assets, it's possible to miss few out that's why the law provided for admitting and refiling
nonsobaba:
OP, you need a lesson in english. This section does not in anyway exonerate the corrupt former CJN. Take note of the word 'necessary' that ended that section. It simply means the CJN can still be taken to the CCT though it isn't mandatory since he has confessed to the misconduct. It is then left for the CCT to determine whether the breach is worthy of any punishment whatsoever.

Lolz.... Bros, you are the one who doesn't undertand what that section is saying. The last statement clearly says it is no longer necessary to take the person to CCT. Full stop. That is where it ends. Before the CJN admitted his "forgetfulness" do you think he didn't check the law? He is a fuccking CJN for Goodnews sake. The CJN will not be convicted by CJN, that's for sure. If corrupt practices is linked to those accounts, only high courts can determine that.

However, I don't like that aspect of the law. It is a serious lacuna.
