As Nigerians move closer to the February 16 general elections, it does seem that defection is not over yet and in a shocking move to many political pundits, the calibre of a DG of a prominent political party may not be in the scorecard to defect.

However, this is Nigeria and it may not be strange.

The Director General of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Organisation in Gombe State, Alhaji Bala Bello Tinka, has resigned his position to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
