over the crash of the helicopter that flew him to Kabba, Kogi State

The OfficialPDPNig expresses shock over the crash of the helicopter carrying Vice President @ProfOsinbajo, in Kabba, Kogi state, on Saturday. The PDP thanks God for the safety of Vice President Osinbajo, members of his entourage and the crew.

The party however called for a thorough investigation into the traumatic incident adding that the safety of our leaders, and of course, all Nigerians, must be guaranteed, especially at this critical time.

The OfficialPDPNig urges all Nigerians irrespective of creed, ethnicity and political affiliation, to continue to pray for God’s continued intervention in our national life.

APC Reaction:
APC, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, also prayed for continuous safety of leaders and progress of the country.

“We thank God our vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is safe and sound along with his aides following his involvement in a helicopter accident which occurred in Kabba, Kogi State while undertaking the All Progressives Congress #NextLevelEngagements ahead of the 2019Elections.

“The Party prays for continuous safety of our leaders and general progress of our great country,” the statement read.

Thanks God for him but this incident speaks volumes on the kinda government we have there.

Their incompetence reeks to the high heavens to the extent that they can't even manage properly, not minding the huge budget allocated to the presidential air wing, a presidential chopper and almost cost the number two man in the country his life. Are these the kinda people we want to place our fates in their hands for another four years? People who can't even take care of themselves? Choppers don't just crash!
