Most of their shopping malls work 24 hours round the clock the city is so magnificent.
Please only go their for tourism, business or Education. yes you have truly been here bro |

enigma0: Dear OP, it'd be of great help if you can talk on the education system there. How much is needed for undergraduate degree and other necessary info for undergrad. you need just your Waec and Testimonial ........................................................................... for MSc you need your transcript and other docments i will be talking about undergrad, because thats what am doing here, you need the two report i mention above plus police report, which 10,000 naira in nigeria. and admission fee of 31,000 RWF which is 16,000 naira within 3 days your admission letter will be ready you go for your covid test and book your ticket, NB>>>>> as a student you are booking one way ticket only.... then when coming here come with all your original documents and dont forget anyone at all.... every school in rwanda kigali is 3years for undergrad and 2years for MSc for undergrad, you have 3semesters yearly and your school fees for that whole year is just 350,000 naira sorry i cant say much about MSc because am not in that field , maybe will ask my friend about it tho. handout is free. the only thing you owe the school is your fees student visa here is 13,000 naira.... RWANDA IS A VISA FREE TO NIGERIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS .... ONCE YOU ARRIVE KIGALI YOUR 30 DAYS START RUNNING so you have to make sure you get your student visa or business visa, before it runs out. educations is stress free. but you need to study to be at the top. so dont expect it to be as rosely as you think. as a student you are free to do anything , do business . with your student permit you can goto kenya and tanzania and other east africa countries thanks for more informations. instagram @_eddybaba youtube @ https://www.youtube.com/c/ItsEdward/videos dont forget just to subscribe on my channel and i will try to do videos about the university maybe tomorrow and i will upload it. thanks |

nwadikeokey11: Well, u may be right regarding the prices of food, but that depends on what u are eating over there. Personally i didn't like their foods so i rarely managed to have a bite of them. I ate more of cake, fruits, bread, and in some restaurant that offered something more edible for my liking and consumption. A small bottle of water was 200rwf, i mean the one that's sold for 50 naira here. There's just a place where i ate Nigeria food. The restaurant is ran by an Igbo lady from Abia state and i tell u, that lady is on money. A young lady in her early thirties but she drives 2 clean jeeps over there in Kigali. I cant remember the name of where that restaurant is now, but it was the winners pastor that took me, the pastors friend that came from Tanzania to settle in Kigali, another Igbo guy that came from Botswana and had already settled in Kigali, another Igbo guy that relocated to Kigali from Dubai and some Rwandes to go eat there. A plate of food then was about 8k rwf. I love Kigali to the extent i choose it over Europe and America and i have my reason. And mind u, before any one come under my comment to attack me, i have been to EU and US, so i have my reason which is best known to me. Thanks. LOL, you see, definitely we both are right in our own perspective, but all the best i wish you good luck sir |

Hello good afternoon guys, so today I went to market again and guess what, When coming to Rwanda don’t bother about food because everything here is extremely cheap and you can afford them just like in 9ja.
I am giving you first hand information and not hear say, the only thing you should bother is what are you doing in Kigali Rwanda & your house rent here, because that’s the most important things you should put into consideration….
1 Kilo of rice is 1200 which is #600 naira Spaghetti name them everything is cheap
When relocating from Nigeria carry some food items because they don’t have mostly 9ja food in this country.
Attached here is the pictures of the market and the neatness we are talking about Kigali.

nwadikeokey11: Great thread. The first time i visited Rwanda i fell deeply in love wit that country. I spent just 6weeks there. I will be relocating back there pretty soon. That country though small but it's every thing i love about how a country should be ran. And for the brother asking if he could survive with a million naira for a year in Kigali, my advise to you should be this. Please don't try it, or you will have a very bad experience. I had cash of 600k naira equivalent in dollar when i landed at the Kigali international airport. After i paid for a room and parlor self contain at Kanombe, exactly opposite the Kigali airport which cost 60k Rwanda franc per a month. i was left with some money which finished in less than a month time. mind you, i didn't party or club, not even for one day, neither did i spend money carrying ladies, hell No. The money was spent on solely food, water and transportation. Foods are very expensive in Kigali and also bottle water. I couldn't drink tap water so i drank only bottled water which is costly, unlike what we had here in Nigeria. My only saving grace was a pastor friend of mine who was in charge of winners chapel church in Kigali, and a member of the church from Kenya whom God told several times according to him to give me 400 dollar. So you see it is difficult to stay in Kigali for 6months with just 1 million naira let alone a whole year, that will be taking an extreme risk if you don't have any business you are doing there. For business you can do that could give you money, i will advise female wears. I met some of our people over there doing that business and they are doing pretty well, of course you know there are more female in Rwanda than male cos of the genocide. I'm going back there soon to do real good business, that country is great and their weather is super compare to our harsh and scotching weather. Our people who went there and could not stay are those who saw that there's no room for their evil and wicked crime life to thrive over there. So most of them went to Kenya or Uganda, those are the countries where they can do their criminal trade and no one will bother them much. Pls don't dare go to Rwanda if u have a criminal mind, cos u will easily be caught, and Kegame seldom take prisoners and if he managed to take one, u may never see the face of the sky again till u die. Thank u. Thank you for your sole contribution, your comment was nice but at the point you said FOOD is expensive this is where i stand to disagree with you, ONLY THING THAT ARE EXPENSIVE HERE IS HOUSing other things are very fair. even the tap water you refuse to drink is what i have been drinking since 6months now. and the food you are complaining is what is stocked in my house. but house rent is what is killing us here nothing more................... but everything you said is accurate but that food i disagree with you sir tha nks |

Why is it the first thing a young man thinks of when discussing about a female of other nationalities? How do you wish to be successful if na only babe this babe that dey your head? Bro ignore them and update your educational experiences. I trust you know how to keep them mixed up for maximum reading pleasure. Shalom. Thank you bro, i feel motivated |

Once your 30 days is exhausted that’s when you will have to extend your stay here by getting a visa of just 10,000 naira but in Rwanda currency is 25k Rwf,
And with Rwanda visa in your passport you can tour east Africa , Kenya and Uganda and others too. |

Seslie: Rwanda is not visa-free but you can get a visa on arrival or evisa (for 30 days) for $30, $50 or $70 depending on the visa type. Kenya also charges $50 +$1 card fee, not $100. I am in Rwanda and I can tell you what is happening now, even friends that visited here they stamp them in without paying any dime, please know the information you dish out |

uboma: Did you really say that, "Rwanda is 30 days visa free...."?
Please stick to the fact going forward. It is not a sign of weakness if you keep mute on matters you have no accurate information about.
Happy studying. Yes Rwanda is a 30 days visa free for Nigerian passport holders |

Seslie: I haven't been to Rwanda yet, so can't comment on that for now. Most tour companies (before Covid) charged an average of 600K+ to tour the 3 countries. I expect this price to be much higher now but this is a range to start with. For Kenya and Rwanda, you can get an evisa. Kenya has recently banned visa on arrival but I believe Rwanda still has that option. There's also the East African Visa available for $100 to tour Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda.
Please check out my blog for what to do in Kenya. I have a lot of resources there. But the most frequently visited places are Nairobi, Mombasa and Diani. I recommend a few days in Nairobi and more in Diani (or Watamu and Malindi).
If you need more information, feel free to reach out to me via my blog. If you'd like me to prepare a tailored itinerary with a more detailed cost breakdown, please let me know as well. I can provide this as a service. I am a student in Rwanda yes, you can tour the 3 countries if you wish too, Rwanda is 30 days visa free and Kenya is e visa of $100 |
